We believe our magazine's credentials have been underlined by the fact that nationally acclaimed, multi-award-winning Ludlow Food Centre agreed to be our sponsor, and that widely feted Michelin starred chef Claude Bosi penned the foreword.
This has been a labour of love for the small Gourmet Shropshire team - we are all 'foodies' with many years of experience of writing about food, drink and hospitality and of reviewing restaurants.
Shropshire is blessed with very many fine establishments and collectively the Gourmet Shropshire team has dined in all of them at one time or another.
We have endeavoured to harness this experience in this new publication which, I'm sure you will agree, is enriched by stunning photography. We're already planning Gourmet Shropshire 2018.

Festivals for all seasons are available for fans of fine food in Shropshire. Shropshire hosts a wealth of Food Festivals throughout the year, including Ellesmere, Oswestry and Telford who hold medium sized events while Christmas festive dishes are celebrated at a seasonal event in Shrewsbury. One of the largest events held each year since 2013 is The Shrewsbury Food Festival, from it's humble beginnings, four years on this Annual culinary celebration is a phenomenon.
